Sailing

The club caters for the sailing enthusiast from the absolute beginner, juniors and the experienced long distance yachty.

Courses and training schools are hosted throughout the year and are sure to be of interest to anyone active or considering being active in this great sport.

There is also regular classes to teach adults as well as juniors starting out in yachting, mastering the basics and how to get underway with confidence. There is no need to be intimidated, you will learn what you need to know in a productive hands on, relaxed and fun environment.

Visitors are welcome from other yacht clubs and those adventurist round Australia or international travellers.

There is sure to be something for everyone at the Hampton Harbour Boat and Sailing Club so why don’t you check us out.

We also want to let you know that, HHBSC will be running sailing instructor courses, which will run after the cyclone season.

Club Facilities

The Hampton Harbour Boat and Sailing Club has excellent facilities to cater for the boating enthusiast.

The clubhouse has a restaurant for weekend and evening meals, a well stocked bar, pool table, big screen TV’s and a large balcony where you can take in the view and enjoy the cool sea breeze. There is even a playground for children to enjoy in a secure and safe environment. The club and restaurant can also cater for events or functions for members.

The club also has diesel, PULP, water and ice available to members and visiting vessels. A dingy mooring area, an excellent floating pontoon boat ramp and wash down facilities are available. Members can also enjoy the Club house toilets and showers. There are also showers, toilets and laundry facilities available to Members 24 hours a day, which are located on the HHBSC grounds. The committee is very proactive to continually improve the facilities for the benefit of all members and visiting vessels.

The Executive Committee meets once a month at the clubhouse. Should you wish to know more, please contact the main office during opening hours.
